Hakuba is a scenic and easy 2.5 hour journey from Tokyo on the Nagano Shinkansen bullet train and express bus. Or we can make it even easier and book you a private transfer from the airport to our hotel.

Narita Airport to Hakuba :
Nagano Snow Shuttle
Adult: Y9,900, Child (4-12): Y7,500, Infant: Free
Departs from Narita Airport at 8:00pm on Thursday to Monday or 9:00pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, arriving at The Ridge around 1:30am or 2:30am, respectively.
Departs from Happo Bus Terminal at 10:30am, arriving at Shinjuku Station (Tokyo) at 3:00pm then Narita Airport around 5:00pm. Please note, we will drop you off to the bus terminal.
Train from Narita Airport to Tokyo:
Catch the Narita Express train from the Airport Train Station downstairs. Approx. 1 hour travel time. Cost: Y2,940
It is advisable to purchase your JR Shinkansen ticket to Nagano at the same time.

Tokyo to Hakuba by Train:
- 1.5 hours Nagano JR Shinkansen bullet train. Cost: Y7,970.
- Then 1 hour by Express bus from Nagano to Happo Bus Depot, or private transfer.

Nagano – Hakuba :
Public Bus
At Nagano station, go to the east exit and find bus stop #6. The bus bound for Hakuba destinations leaves roughly every hour from 8:20 to 20:30 and costs Y1,500. Please check with the Alpico website for updated times and info. Last bus to Hakuba leaves Nagano station at 20:30 – there is no public transport options after this time.
